Syllabus and Course Policies

This website is a quick overview of some of the most important policies with links to more detailed information.

  • Academic policies that apply to students are developed and passed by the Faculty Senate and can be found at:
  • Administrative policies and implementation procedures for academic policies are established by the Office of Undergraduate Education and can be found in the Academic Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual,
  • Policies regarding student conduct are handled through the Office of Student Conduct in the Office of Student Affairs and can be found at

The College requires each course’s syllabus to be posted on the college's website, which links to individual departments: Each course syllabus should be submitted to the department for posting online no later than the end of the first week of classes.

Any questions about policies should be sent to Dennis Shea. Please contact Heather Zimmerman to coordinate. Questions about graduate education and relevant policies can be directed to Kathy Drager by contacting Amy Mitchell.
