Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences
The Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences (GPN) provides advanced training in research, leadership, education, and community engagement in specialized and interdisciplinary settings. Graduate faculty in nutritional sciences offer a breadth of knowledge and research experiences, includingapplied research in clinical and community settings as well as basic research focusing on cellular and molecular mechanisms of specific nutrients in relation to metabolism and other physiological properties. The National Research Council has ranked Penn State’s GPN among the nation’s top program.
