Faculty in the Department of Nutritional Sciences have a long and distinguished history at Penn State. They are multi-disciplinary, coming from a broad range of backgrounds such as nutrition, dietetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, psychology, immunology, behavioral genetics, endocrinology, epidemiology, health promotion, health education, medicine, neuroscience, pharmacology. The faculty can help students develop knowledge and skills either for practical applications or as a base for graduate study.
